The Avant Garde Preschool, an effort from creative studio Partners & Spade in NYC, has a very exciting engagment this coming weekend. We just learned about this (miss school miss out) but checked in and there are a few spaces left! Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth will be offering a lecture on the seemingly complicated subject of white noise to inquiring minds ages 8-12 (and, of course, parents of). From experience, Moore's stage presence is never short of very entertaining, so I wouldn't miss this if you're in or around NYC this coming Sunday. Short and sweet and the lovely hosts of Partners & Spade know how to have a good time. A special friend of Hw/Ks will be at the event and we're excited for insider reports!
