Hot Seat

The Parupu chair for kids gets an A+ for forward thinking design. It's tough and durable enough to withstand imaginative minds of what young ones might use it for (sitting is sometimes boring) and consciously constructed to be biodegradable, taking their future to heart.

Parupu, which means 'pulp' in Japanese, is made using the technology and materials of Swedish manufacturer Södra pulp labs (their website is one to check out or so many reasons).
The chair was presented at last year's design fair in Milan boasting happy features, like, it's recyclable, environmentally-friendly, stackable, colourful, and made for fun and games. Stay tuned for where to shop for this super seat....
